Services

Each assignment, which can start with the recruitment process and continue throughout an executive’s career with a company, or at any stage during that career as and when required, is tailored to the exact needs of the company and executive or team. We provide independent and objective assistance that is backed by a wealth of industry knowledge and applied in a totally bespoke, flexible and confidential manner.

Search

Griffonage clients benefit from our very extensive personal contacts network, our continuously updated database, and our research teams around the world. Additionally, via our quality management system we review each assignment with the client and the successful candidate, separately, once it is completed.

This review leads to post-placement coaching as part of the search fee. Once the search contract has been undertaken this coaching may be continued as a separate programme for whatever purpose and duration the company and executive require up to and including career-long development.

When undertaking a search assignment, because of the coaching techniques we employ, not only do we learn a great deal more about candidates than would be the case with the traditional interview process, but they also learn more about themselves. As a result we markedly enhance the selection of the right candidate for the company and appointment. This approach establishes a level of rapport with the candidate that is an excellent start point for the post-placement coaching.

All search assignments commence with a meeting between the company’s representative (usually the Chairman, CEO/MD or HR Director), the executive to whom the appointment reports, and Griffonage. The purpose being to establish the background to the assignment, its objectives, how it will be conducted, and the contractual terms.

Coaching

In sport, top athletes employ top quality coaches. What drives a sportsman or woman is winning, personal challenge, achievement and recognition as a leader. This is the same in business. Coaching is now recognised as the most effective means of maximising a high performing executive’s or team’s potential, especially during periods of rapid change. It is an investment in yourself, your people and, therefore, your company which can have a positive impact on performance out of all proportion to the outlay involved.

Griffonage offers a unique approach to executive coaching that also incorporates coaching in wellbeing and presentational skills, thereby bringing an holistic yet very business focused dimension to our clients’ needs. Additionally, our extensive knowledge of coaching means that we do not advocate one set approach but utilise all appropriate techniques from the complete spectrum of executive and wellbeing coaching, and business management.

All coaching assignments commence with a meeting between the executive(s) concerned, the company's representative (as above), the executive to whom the appointment reports, and Griffonage. The purpose being to establish the background to the assignment, that the company’s and individual’s objectives are aligned, that the coaches and executive are compatible, the structure of the assignment up to and including career-long development, how achievement will be measured, and the contractual terms.

Coaching sessions are conducted away from the workplace in a private environment with no disturbances. Michael and Rebekah’s expertise is totally focused on the needs of the company and the individual who can take advantage of their different but complementary knowledge, perspectives, genders, age and styles, but highly empathetic delivery, in a relaxed but very business orientated environment. All discussions between coaches and executive(s) are completely confidential.
